Xbox 360 Elite Confirmed!

The Xbox 360 Elite had been confirm by Microsoft yesterday. Which sure will feature HDMI output, 120GB HDD, Black finish but not limited edition, and also come with HDMI cable all at USD479. Cool ler? 120GB!! Keep things until you siao, PS3 60GB, but this one x2. ^^ The only thing Xbox 360 lose PS3 is no BD Playback. What do you guys think?

We’ve confirmed with trusted sources that the black Xbox 360 is indeed coming (the image above is of
the original 360 dev kit, FYI), and will be dubbed the Xbox 360 Elite. Here’s
what you need to know about it:

• The Elite will be limited quantities only; that may be
  as much or as little as a couple hundred thousand.
• The case, controller, and Live headset will all be
  black. It will have all new packaging.
• Elite will cost $479, and will be a 3rd SKU; it will be
  sold alongside Premium and Core packs.
• Eventually Elite hardware (in white plastics) will take
  the role of the Xbox Premium. That is to say, after the Elite is launched and
  sold out, future Xbox Premiums will have 120GB / HDMI.
• We do not yet know exactly when 120GB / HDMI will become
  the standard for Premium, but it is loosely estimated to be late summer or fall.
• Elite models run cooler than normal 360s, but they are
  not yet confirmed to have 65nm chips.
• Prices may remain the same with the 120GB / HDMI
  hardware upgrade in the Premium Xbox, but we may still see a price cut on the
  line when 65nm chips start shipping.
• The HD DVD drive will not be internal or bundled –
  Microsoft never did or nor does not currently have plans to put an HD DVD drive
  in the 360.
• There are no current plans to integrate WiFi into the
  Elite or future Premiums (although that can always change).

Hot Day

Oh Hi!~
So I am at school now.
Using the Internet service in the library.
Need to pay for the service. RM1/hour.
Not so cool, the computer lab don’t have Internet access as I mention before.
Not fun lar.
Actually I stay back in school for house practice. I am in BLUE house, what house are you in?
So while waiting the house practice to be start, and nothing to do, so I come to blog.
Newspaper also read finish already, don’t have homework, not hungry so only thing I can do and I like to do is go ONLINE and do something, suft net, chat, and of course blog.

It’s hot outside, but it’s cool inside, got air-con. ^^
There is a stupid rules which is, the only one who pay can use the computer, friends cannot sit beside me and watch at the screen. Just now my friend wanted to see me blog, but the library assistant don’t allow him to do so.
And also, I tried to find books on photography here, but after some times looking at the reference corner, I found 1 book, KODAK PHOTOGRAPHY, not on digital photography. The book is old, printed in 1984 =.=
Stupid library, I want photography book!! Last year I didn’t step into this library, but this year I do now, cause sometimes will stay in school for activities and nothing to do.

I stink, morning I had PE lesson, played football. Sweat a lot, very hot weather, sunny day. So I stink in the class. So later I’m going house practice, will do long jump and throw the THING thing, don’t know what it call, something looks like UFO and throw the spear thing. So will become more STINK, eww . HAHA.

My First WARNING Letter

… from my Communication Club (PA Service Club), I wonder why they call it Communication. I did not attend their meeting last don’t know which Saturday. I did not go read the notice board so end up getting this. My First TIME. HAHA! I actually dumped it into the rubbish bin, but decided to take back and show you guys. ^^

Nicholas Chan Yik Yeou, school number, class 3TA4 didn’t attend meeting on Saturday 10-3-07 at 8am till 9.30am which held at 5SA3 without any reason of why didn’t attend the meeting. So, you are given the warning for the FIRST time.

My translation sucks. If get warning letter for three times, then OUT of the club already.

Arrive LIAO

My Dell 22″ Entry Level BUDGET LCD monitor arrived yesterday at my dad’s office.
I didn’t write my house address because I scared when the deliver to us that time I not at home.
Since dad’s shop always got people, so wrote the address of it.
It’s nice, much more bigger than my previous ahem 15″ LG monitor.
Uses DVI input instead of analog, because the colour will be sharper I think.
Sadly this doesn’t have ULTRA-SHARP feature and COMPONENT/COMPOSITE input.
This got 2 input, DVI and Analog, can switch to Analog whenever you want.
So it’s kinda cool, you can plug in your Xbox 360 and PC, then when nothing to do, just a button, you go to 360’s Dashboard.

It comes with a Analog cable plugin into it.

Xbox 360 Elite in Action

Some Chinese dude in China manage to peep and snap some pict about the rumored Xbox 360 Elite at some production place, now it’s confirm. Microsoft will annoucing it this Wednesday. So this Xbox 360 will feature a 120GB hard drive, Black in color, limited edition too and maybe there will be a white color version ! And very cool, include HDMI output for HD game and video. What else? Let’s wait Microsoft to announce it.

What I think is, Xbox 360 is getting up with PS3, although no build in HD media disc playback yet, only allow HD-DVD play through external player, but also Microsoft maybe releasing Blu-Ray player for Xbox 360 soon, I hope they will have this built in with it, then later maybe also Folding@Home with Xbox 360. Then Xbox 360 can stand side by side with the PS3. My current favourite console is the PS3, because it can do just everything, from Linux OS, web browser, hard drive for media storage and of course Blu-Ray Player. But it’s good to get both, PS3 for games and BD playback while the Xbox 360 as media center in the living room.
HARD TO CHOOSE.

We’ve got a couple spy shots hot off the production line in China of the Xbox 360 Elite. They were taken with a cellphone so the shots aren’t of the highest quality, but they get the job done. The site hosting the thread is TGFCer, which stands for “TV Game Fans Club”, and according to our tipster, is one of the biggest Chinese bbs for video game enthusiasts. A later shot was provided of the top of the hard drive, and you can barely make out the “12″ in “120G HDD” due to over exposure, but with some Photoshop wizardry (Command+I, or Control+I for PC users) we were able to get the text to become more apparent. Still no monitor yet.

Just came home from tuition, still in my school uniform.

300 is like porn movie. Haha, the nudity sex scene make until so “artistic”. Some part only la.
Black X-mas not so special, just the whole movie is about 2 stupid killer who always murder people and dig the eyes out. Ew right? But nothing much special, always eye eye eye, and the eye look like … just like eye. I still prefer SAW or Hostel. Haha
PC FAIR IS COMING, 6,7,8 APRIL. NEXT WEEKEND AT PISA.
I am going to check out printer and dvd-rS.
My brother give me de Epson printer cannot use one, now broke down already.
Always need to go to my mom’s office to print stuff, you know now project time, need to do a lot of printing. swt man!
I need to reprint my Geografi folio, stupid teacher say no other font, only Times New Roman is allow.
Shit! Microsoft Office original font is Calibri ma, shit you! And also Calibri looks nicer than Times New Roman.

Can’t Post Photo

=( So sorry I can’t post the photo that I took last Saturday.
Actually I wanted to post it today.
But I am too tired already, sleepy.
Morning had PE lesson, played football, then afternoon got house practice.
Come back home also dinner time already.
Watched Grey’s Anatomy.
Teach my dad how to use the computer.
I won’t be able to post the photo because I haven’t photoshop and resize it.
And too, I don’t have monitor for my PC.
One of the monitor in my dad’s office spoil liao.
So he need 1 monitor immediately, he got mine.
I only can use back my computer next week I guess.
My 22″ Dell Monitor is coming ^^.
Now using my dad’s laptop to post.

Tomorrow having cross-country run.
I won’t be really RUNNING.
Just do some jog, not an avid runner.

Yesterday Quite Fun and Tired.

Last night I slept at 2, came home at 12. Chat with my brother until 1+ like that and then watch 1 episode of Kyle XY.

Stupid! I went to Youth Park to collect my RUN FOR FUN T-Shirt, but the guy told me already no more liao. Too little too late?

Then went to MPPP Guest House at 3, it is like chalet, when I was there, saw not much people there, only saw Zi Yang, Alvin, Chia Yang, Kok and some seniors.
I thought a lot of people.

That time so boring, don’t know who found a NOT-MUCH air football there, then we go play football. FUN.

Later when more people come already, CDK girls and my school boys, we had treasure hunt.
I also don’t know whether got prize arnot if we win. So the game is like that, organizer, Zi Yang placed paper with writing of the team number, each team must find 6 pieces of those paper, then answer some question then will win. So I was in TEAM 4, I go everywhere the house, and outside, didn’t even find a piece, I found other team’s ^^, I try to put it to a higher place and more hard to find place for them.
KARMA, HAHAHA, my team only found 3 paper and the rest, give other team KEPT away already.

I play cards, Hong Kong famous’ “CHOR DYE DEE”. I lose =(, I got all so lousy card. Don’t want how to play also.

BBQ time! Besides got BBQ, there got Laksa, fried rice, bee hoon, curry chicken, sausage and spring rolls. I am a very lazy person, so I ask Giu Yun jie help me pu(barbeque in hokkien) the chicken wings and fish balls ^^. SO FULL MAN! Ate too much already.

Then Zi Yang show off his karaoke skills, sing some songs. I of course don’t dare to sing, my voice so geli. Then the adults there sing lor, I watch only. HEHE.

Then at night, 11.30 like that, mom and dad come fetch me home le. Some stay there overnight, some didn’t. Overall, I enjoyed it, but ATE TOO MUCH LIAO.
